Alongside Open WebUI, your welcome email lists a direct link to the business app itself — Odoo on port 8069, Grafana on 8094, and so on. This guide covers first login and first steps.
First login
Open the app’s URL from the welcome email and sign in with the credentials from the same email. For Odoo products the installer has already created the production database and made your billing email its administrator, so there is no setup wizard waiting for you.
First steps by app type
- CRM (SuiteCRM, EspoCRM) — import or add a handful of real contacts first, then define your pipeline stages. A CRM with three real records teaches more than three hundred imported ones.
- ERP (Odoo, ERPNext) — start in accounting: company currency, fiscal year, then one product and one customer. Everything else hangs off those.
- Dashboards (Grafana, Superset) — connect a data source before anything else. The agent can help point Grafana at a database you control.
- Chat (Rocket.Chat, Element) — create your channels and invite one colleague before announcing it. An empty chat tool dies quietly.
- Surveys, docs, design — LimeSurvey, Docmost, and Penpot are ready to use as-is; their value is immediate.
Let the agent do the boring parts
Anything repetitive in the app — configuring stages, importing a CSV, setting notification rules — is a good job for the Vibe-code agent in Open WebUI. Ask it to make the change, then verify in the app.
Getting data in and out
All of these apps have export functions, and because the server is yours, you can also copy files and database dumps off it at any time. You are never locked in.
