Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and OpenSysLab for using opensyslab.co and renting servers from us. By creating an account, placing an order, or starting a server, you accept them.

1. What we sell

OpenSysLab provides managed, self-hosted open-source business applications. When you order, we create a private virtual machine (“server”) in the region you select, preinstall the application you bought together with an Open WebUI chat and a Vibe-code agent, and hand you the credentials. The server is dedicated to your order and isolated from other customers. The applications themselves are open-source software, provided by their respective communities under their own licenses.

2. Accounts

Servers attach to the account whose email matches the order’s billing email; guest checkouts automatically create such an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and your server passwords safe, and for everything that happens under them.

3. Orders, pricing, and payment

  • Prices for each server size are shown on the product page and are fixed monthly amounts in US dollars, billed through PayPal.
  • Servers bill for as long as they exist. Deleting a server stops future charges immediately; there are no refunds for the current billing period because the underlying infrastructure is metered by the hour.
  • AI usage is separate: the Vibe-code agent runs on an API key you provide, and the model provider bills you directly for tokens. We add no markup and are not party to that billing relationship.

4. Starting, using, and deleting servers

  • Nothing is created (or billed) until you start a server from My Servers by choosing an AI vendor and a valid API key.
  • Provisioning usually completes in 10 to 20 minutes. We email credentials when the server is ready.
  • Deleting a server destroys it and all data on it. The order line returns to Awaiting setup and you may start a new server from it at any time.

5. Backups and your data

If you select the Daily backup option, we keep 7 snapshots on a rolling 7-day window for disaster recovery. Backups are a safety net, not a guarantee or an archive: you are responsible for exporting data you want to keep, and we are not liable for data loss, whatever the cause, beyond re-creating your service from the most recent snapshot where one exists.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use your servers lawfully and not to: send spam or unsolicited bulk messages; host malware, phishing, or other harmful content; attack, scan, or disrupt other systems; mine cryptocurrency; or resell access in a way that abuses the fixed-price model. We may suspend or delete servers that violate this section, without refund for the current period.

7. AI services are third-party services

The Vibe-code agent operates through the model provider you choose (Kimi for Coding, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter) under your own API key. We do not control and are not responsible for: provider availability, pricing, or policy changes; the accuracy or legality of AI output; or your provider’s handling of your prompts. Review each provider’s terms before use.

8. Service status and warranty

The service is in beta. We work hard to keep everything running and to fix what breaks, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability and these terms do not include a service-level agreement. Everything is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law; we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page with a fresh “last updated” date is the current one. For material changes we will email the address on your account. Continued use after the change takes effect means acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact

[TODO: governing law and legal entity to be completed before public launch.] Questions about these terms: info@opensyslab.co.
